our journey

Finland is known for its breathtaking nature, and while hiking in its woods our founder, James, was in a terrible mood.

He picked up a pinecone and squeezed it in his hand. The relief seemed instantaneous, as his mood enhanced significantly.

He decided to bring the power of nature to other people as well and started designing the PainCone, making sure to use biodegradable materials.

The PainCone is based on the idea of using pain as a distraction from emotional distress, such as stress, anxiety, and frustration.

The function is that causing physical pain can temporarily override or block out feelings of psychological pain, without causing real damage to the user.

The controlled pain does achieve a greater body-mind connection, consciousness and awareness.

Also, the pressure from the spikes to acupoints improves blood flow.

Additionally, it’s a great massage tool, especially for the bottoms of feet.

Customer reviews

I really love these! Always got one in the pocket :> Personally speaking it's helped so far to: - regulate emotions in public - something to fidget or stim with - distracting thoughts in uncomfortable situations like blood tests etc - also a nice, safe, and hygienic way to feel a little discomfort - good to scratch - good to massage - also looks pretty and neutral, very decorative Also the dude making these is really cool ☺️ A warm recommendation!
